Drive me to 3019

I would like to time travel to see the future me wouldn’t that be great to see what I will really be. I could travel to when I was eight to see all the things I've done some are really boring but most of it are fun. I could travel to the day I'm an Adult to see how many things I know but no need for that I'll just wait until I grow.

How exciting the key theme of this year’s splendid feast realistically is. A theme diving in what the possible future beholds for us. Would we include a lifelike robot working diligently at our homes? Would there be spaceships dropping off to established school? Will we naturally wear silver tined clothes? Or have the typical apartments elegantly furnished with precious metal? As keenly exciting and adequately exploring the kaleidoscope theme realistically was the more challenging it was to be perceived. We don’t realize how structured and molded our developed concept of future tense is. Nobody is to reasonably blame, not the classic movies, not the published books and not our very own imagination. At the moral end, humans realistically represent a social animal, naturally learning to vicariously experience, to progressively develop and to inculcate.

During the team interviews, a diverse spectrum of what the term future tense meant for every person was answered instantly. The observed spectrum shouted answers to work around, social structure, successful birth of modern law and human development. With final discussions concluded we had tarot card reading, fairy lights and dolls and the time travel clock. The creative idea was catchy but also a determined one to carefully execute. The bigger the principal object the better views, but also the toughest to meticulously construct. Now that the creative idea was spurred there was no turning back. Assembling steel wires, card boards and mount boards, glass pieces and spray paints we naturally provoked direct action. A circular base was instantly organized at considered first with mount boards upon which a round border was formed. The picture being set, one creative side of the clock stringed together with flexible wires and the prominent other collate with glass pieces. Ample times were challenging to accomplish the wires in a precise circle, but with some coffee breaks and jugaad key things got done.

The recognized festival and nostalgia flowed through den corridors, the workforce buckled up as the significant day neared. Backstreet boys and Ritviz musically enchanted everyone in a cultural celebration of mutual happiness. It's not a random college festival which typically arrives every academic year. It's a pent-up emotion of expressions. A continuous cycle of initiating. It’s nobbut like building something out of the Lego blocks. A festival adventured open to showcase a beaded string of opportunities and a stage for a talent. Nevertheless, it’s a one big family. The pre and post feelings in common are something every workforce, every crew, every EC, head and particularly every staff member treasures forever. For me it was a homeward journey of a newborn baby to a grown-up adult.

I eagerly joined this balloon as a security volunteer. Assumed it was wholly being around the budding superstars and carefully securing them. Although this was just the visible tip of the iceberg. From a gate checking to directing the people at the suitable room for the right show happened through team security. More than this it most importantly taught crowd management at the most crucial points of the day. From the prime seats fleeing instantly cramped at Bhabha Hall to a never ending line outside the magnificent hall with choking rain troupe security scooped it all. One fun fact troupe security is the biggest workforce for the fest, and every volunteer is like a drop in the ocean. The second year I enlisted expansions team as a volunteer. This team equally delivers the most demanding job to efficiently perform. You see when the people outside, stand in the lengthy queue are dismissed they recover the central lawn in search of keeping themselves busy. Expansion team manages that right. Board games, smash field, zorbing arena and the helium balloon are arranged. With popcorn and candy floss as light snacks and festive decoration around the grassy lawn based on the key theme. The concluding year came; an assistant cord in team expansion it was.

Coming back to the time travel clock, we gathered the two parts ready and it was right away the delightful hour to properly assemble. Initially, we tried sticking doggedly the two the wire circle with the mount base but that couldn’t clutch them together. Plan B was carefully to plug the wires inside the mount to unite the two. And alas that was a success. The further step was fitting and progressively eliminating the visible gaps. Cautiously working with exposed wires and gently twisting them like a stick naturally gave stretch marks to the plump fingers. Once that was accomplished, it was right away to stick the years and the ticking hands sprayed with golden blush.

Came the delightful day to carefully hang the illuminated clock on the tree bark. With used ropes and exposed wires, it was amply secured for guaranteed safety. Other decorations were hung prominently, and the aerodynamic stall was setup up. College kids gathered around the time travel clock and clicked pictures. Some took mirror selfie while others received a snap. As the fest neared to the marked end, tears rolled in our luminous eyes. The last year generated visible emotions of ending, the finish line of a treasured moment in our academic lives. Being part of the kaleidoscope workforce remains one indescribable proportion of the hemisphere to live-in and enjoying in common as audiences purchase another. To getting frisked at the main gate and dancing like a genocidal maniac at tinder booth. To the fire pan moment and the mystic melody in the central lawn. To the curtain raiser till the closing of the kaleidoscope. The euphoric feeling of an accomplished end was enthusiastically celebrated by every person present on the concluding day of the grand feast.

Some tears and hearty hugs were universally shared. With warm wishes for the coming years of the fest to the next teams in official charge. The clean-up day arrived, and it was at present to carefully remove the entire elegant decor and clean the lawns. Before voluntarily removing the homemade clock, we instantly had one last look. Looking approvingly in the week’s handwork with teary years, we took down the clock and gently placed it back at the den. With one last look we politely bid affectionate adieu to the time travel clock and to the amazing 3 years journey of Kaleidoscope.
